Earthum’s products are available in a range of formats. They help you find the
right level of detail for your topic, from a free preview to a comprehensive compendium.
Some products offer a brief introduction, whilst others take you deeper into a topic. Some are primarily
intended for reading, whilst others also include practical exercises, worksheets, overviews or bonus material.
The product formats show you just how comprehensive and in-depth a product is.
INSIGHTS
An ‘Insight’ is a free introduction to a group topic.
It is short, clear and ideal for getting to know Earthum, the style of the content and the
structure of the digital products. These insights provide you with
an initial overview, without covering a topic in full.
A preview is particularly useful if you’d like to find out more about a topic
or aren’t yet sure which product is right for you.
FOUNDATION
An foundation product is a small, straightforward way to get started.

Zusammenhänge und meist auch praktische Anwendungsmöglichkeiten.
Es eignet sich besonders, wenn Du ein Thema nicht nur kurz kennenlernen,
sondern wirklich verstehen und im alltäglichen Leben anwenden möchtest.
SPECIAL VOLUME
A specialised module is a targeted in-depth study.
Widmet sich einem bestimmten Bereich, einer Methode, einem Zusatzthema
or a particular perspective. Special volumes may expand on an existing
topic or deal with a single aspect in particular depth.
A specialised course is a good choice if you already have some basic knowledge
or are particularly interested in a specific area.
CORE WORK
A Core Work product is a major core product.
It covers a topic comprehensively, in a structured way and in greater depth.
Core Work generally contain more in-depth knowledge, practical
elements, clear guidance and supplementary material. A
core work is ideal if you want to engage seriously with a topic
and are looking for a comprehensive core resource.
COMPENDIUM
A compendium is the most comprehensive product format.
It is designed as a reference and practical resource and
will support you over the long term. Compendia bring together knowledge, structure,
application and guidance in a particularly comprehensive way. A

EARTHUM EDITIONS
All of Earthum’s digital products are created to the highest standards in terms of content, design and
atmosphere. They are meticulously crafted, carefully structured and artistically
designed. Depending on the product, this may include a bespoke cover, designed interior pages, decorative elements,
images, graphics, illustrations, map designs, end pages or other visual components.
Many products are also complemented by matching bonuses, extras or additional materials.
DIGITAL EDITION
It is provided as a PDF and is available for immediate download after purchase.
Depending on the product, it may also include bonus material, worksheets,
summaries, maps, posters or other digital supplementary materials.
The Digital Edition is the main version of many Earthum products.
PRINT EDITION
You will receive the digital edition immediately after purchase. The printed book is
produced and dispatched separately. Not every digital product is automatically available as a

PRINT UPGRADE
A print upgrade may be offered if you have already purchased a product as a digital
edition and a printed edition becomes available at a later date.

EXCERPT & PREVIEW
A preview is a standalone free product or
a brief, free introduction to a topic.
A reading sample, on the other hand, is a short extract from
a specific product. It gives you an example of the structure,
design, table of contents, page layout or individual sample pages.
This will help you work out whether the style, scope and depth are right for you before you buy.
